Can't open app

Hello,
I just upgraded to MacOs Sierra and one app (iFinance 3) won't open with the new system.
I searched in the internet, and the developers say there is nothing I can't do to retrieve my data once my system is upgraded. However, most of the times users have always a way to fix problems like this, so I was wondering if any of you knew a way to open an app that is not compatible with MacOs Sierra.. If there is some sort of "El Capitan Emulator" or something that will let me open the app. The only thing I need to do is open the app and export my data in a specific format so that I can import that data on the newest version of the app.
